This is my first entry so I first I'll introduce myself, my name is Jared Padalecki I'm known for my work on the show Gilmore Girls, but most recently Supernatural which is currently half way through its fifth season. New episodes started a couple weeks ago and we should be finding out soon if we will be getting picked up for a sixth season if we do I'll stay as long as Jensen and Eric stay.
I was born and raised in Texas, San Antonio Texas to be exact. I have a mom, dad, an older brother Jeff and a younger sister Megan. I love my family and for me there is nothing better than spending time with them. Family is very important to me they have supported me in everything I've done and that includes my acting career. I went to school like any other normal kid, but I started taking acting classes when I was 12 a few years later I won a contest to work on the Teen Choice Awards there I met my agent and my career went from there. I've done a lot of guest spots on TV shows including ER, but I didn't really get noticed until Gilmore Girls. I've also gone a few movies New York Minute and Flight of the Phoenix then came House of Wax, Cry Wolf and my most recent Friday the 13th. There was a rumor going around that I would be playing Conan in the new Conan movie that will be made, sadly I didn't get the part but maybe one day I will get to play Tarzan??? I wish I could continue to make movies after the show is over I could then spend more time with my friends and family.
I have two dogs, Sadie Lane and Harley Brown. I adopted them from a shelter they were both abused so it took some time for them to get used to me now I can't go anywhere without them and when I have to go a crying scene for the show I think about how I would feel if I had to put one of my dogs down.
My best friend is named Jensen Ackles, if you don't know who he is he plays my older and ugly brother Dean Winchester on the show. We have been friends from the very beginning and we love spending time together. We both feel very lucky to have found someone that we get along with and don't mind spending so much time with because well we have 12 to 14 hour days and plus we share a house together so you get the picture.
I know most of you have read that I'm engaged to Genevieve well I'm sorry I'm not I'm currently dating the original Ruby Katie Cassidy. We are very happy together and have been for sometime now. I guess thats it, but one more thing I wish it was Christmas I really want a dunkin donuts pumpkin spiced latte!!! |
